DotScout — Terms of Service

1. What DotScout is — and is not

DotScout is an impersonal research and education publication. Every subscriber receives the same reports, on the same schedule, tailored to no one. DotScout is not an investment adviser, broker-dealer, or fiduciary; it is not registered with the SEC or any state securities authority, and it does not provide individualized investment advice. Nothing in the service is a recommendation to buy, sell, or hold any security for you.

We never provide personalized advice — including in support replies. If you ask "should I buy X for my account," we will decline.

2. No guarantees; investing involves risk

Historical statistics shown in the service (including backtested signal odds) are research about the past, not predictions. Favorable odds are not certainty. Past results never guarantee future returns. Investing involves risk, including possible loss of principal. You alone are responsible for your investment decisions.

3. Eligibility & accounts

You must be 18 or older. The service currently requires no account; access is delivered via a private link sent to your email. You may not share or resell access.

4. Subscriptions, billing, refunds

• Plans: Basic $19.99/month, Core $49/month, Pro $79/month — monthly only, billed via Stripe once checkout opens.
• Cancel anytime, no questions; access continues to the end of the period you already paid for.
• No refunds on any charge, first or renewal, except where required by law.
• Prices may change with at least 30 days' notice; changes apply at your next renewal.

5. Market data & third-party content

Data in the service comes from third-party sources (including market data providers and public filings) and may be delayed, incomplete, or wrong. We do not warrant its accuracy. Third-party marks belong to their owners.

Embedded content. The interactive price chart on a stock or coin page is TradingView's own widget, served by TradingView from their systems and displaying their market data. When you use that chart you are interacting with TradingView's service directly, under TradingView's terms and privacy policy, not ours — we neither supply nor control what it shows. Company and coin logos are served by a third-party logo provider on the same basis. Our own figures elsewhere in the app come from our data providers, not from the chart. See the Privacy Policy for what those third parties can see.

6. Acceptable use

No scraping, redistribution, or republication of the service's content; no framing it as your own advice to others; no automated bulk access; no use that violates law. Personal, non-commercial use only.

7. Intellectual property

The service, its content, software, marks (DotScout™, the dot-in-scope mark), and design are owned by DotScout LLC. Subscribing grants a personal, revocable, non-transferable license to use the service.

8. Disclaimers & limitation of liability

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, DOTSCOUT LLC'S TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING FROM THE SERVICE IS LIMITED TO THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM. WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR TRADING LOSSES, LOST PROFITS, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES.

9. Indemnification

You will indemnify DotScout LLC against claims arising from your misuse of the service or violation of these terms.

10. Governing law & disputes

Michigan law governs.

11. Changes; termination

We may update these terms with notice (email or in-service). We may suspend or terminate access for violation of these terms, with a pro-rata refund of any prepaid unused period unless the violation is willful.

12. Email communications

We communicate with you by email, at the address you give us. We do not send text messages. Sign-in links, receipts, billing and service notices are part of the service and continue while you hold an account. Product email (the daily report and alerts) goes to subscribers on the plans that include it; you can switch it off any time in your account or with the unsubscribe link in any message. The free daily verdict is sent only if you asked for it on the waitlist form. Messages are the same impersonal research every subscriber receives, not advice to you.

13. Entire agreement

These terms plus the Privacy Policy are the whole agreement.
